Equipment Introduction

In the traditional production process for countersinking the inner wall at the clamping pin positions inside connector housings, a bench‑type machine with fixtures and manual straight drilling is used to drill each mounting hole individually. This method suffers from low efficiency, inconsistent hole angles, and uncontrollable hole depth (relying on operator experience), leading to unstable riveting quality between the clamping pins and housings.
Our flexible automatic housing countersinking equipment (Model UNMAC-CHA-IHC-1.4) enables vertical countersinking of clamping pin holes with precisely adjustable and controllable depth. It supports flexible changeover between different housing specifications, facilitating diversified production. The equipment features fully automatic feeding, processing, and unloading. Housings are fed via a belt conveyor with buffer storage for multiple parts, and finished housings are automatically collected in the finished‑product area.
By integrating vision recognition with sensor‑based detection, the system achieves rapid and precise identification and positioning of the pin holes on the housing, ensuring accurate and fast hole location.
The system adopts an in‑line processing method, with automatic feeding, hole recognition and positioning, and vertical countersinking performed simultaneously at separate stations without interference or return strokes, resulting in high‑speed production cycles.
Detailed Description:
- Housings are fed onto the belt conveyor for countersinking; finished housings are discharged via the same belt. Both infeed and outfeed belts can buffer multiple housings.
- Vision recognition combined with sensors quickly and automatically locates and precisely positions the rivet holes on the housing.
- Housings are automatically transferred from the infeed belt to the in‑line conveying mechanism (which precisely positions each station), then move to the hole recognition station. After hole positioning, the housing proceeds to the “vertical countersinking” station (with precisely settable depth). After each hole is countersunk, the housing indexes to the next hole position and repeats until all holes are completed. The finished housing is then conveyed to the outlet.
