Its customer, Changshu AT&S Solar Power Technology Co., Ltd., is one of the leading manufacturers of solar modules and a global supplier of silicon ingots, wafers, solar cells, solar power systems, and specialized solar products.
On March 27, 2012, a special celebration ceremony was held at the new factory of Yingkou Jincheng Machinery Co., Ltd., attended by Ni Sidede, Global Head of ABB’s Robotics Division; Li Yisheng, Chairman of Yingkou Jincheng Machinery Co., Ltd.; and Liu Huanxin, Vice Mayor of Yingkou.
At the ceremony, Ni Sidede remarked: “Nearly half of the world’s industrial robots are installed in automotive and auto‑parts manufacturing facilities. However, in recent years, sectors beyond the automotive industry—such as food processing, electronics and electrical equipment, as well as emerging energy fields like solar and wind power—have witnessed a substantial surge in robot installations.”
